The useful bit, upfront

Treat the Creapure logo as an ingredient-origin check you can verify, not a performance promise. Confirm the QS code, then compare format, declared servings and the allergen line before you choose.

Plenty of creatine tubs carry a Creapure logo, and some cost noticeably more for it. So what are you actually buying? Creapure is a trademarked creatine monohydrate ingredient made by AlzChem in Trostberg, Germany. The logo is about where the ingredient came from and how it was made. It is not a promise about results, and it does not replace reading the rest of the label. Here is how to check it properly, and three picks we rate.

What the seal does and does not cover

According to Creapure's own quality-seal page, the logo signals creatine monohydrate made in its dedicated Trostberg facility, with each batch analytically tested and documented. Licensed packs carry a six-digit QS code at the bottom left of the seal, which you can enter on creapure.com to check the product belongs to its partner network.

That is the manufacturer's claim about its ingredient. It tells you nothing about the brand's other ingredients, capsule shell, allergens or how many servings you get, so the rest of the label still matters. Personal suitability questions belong with a pharmacist or GP.

Our picks

Ad Reflex Nutrition Creapure creatine monohydrate powder · 500 g · Standard: our best all-rounder. Reflex declares 100 servings per tub, lists a single ingredient, 100% Creapure creatine monohydrate, and describes it as tasteless, so it disappears into water, juice or your usual shake. Brilliant if you want one tub that lasts.

Ad Reflex Nutrition Creapure creatine monohydrate capsules · 90 count · Unflavoured: our no-mixing pick. Reflex declares 45 servings per tub, with no scooping and nothing to taste, ideal for a gym bag or desk drawer. Note the capsule shell is beef gelatine, so it is not vegetarian.

Ad Reflex Nutrition Creapure creatine monohydrate capsules · 90 count (Pack of 2) · Standard: our stock-up pick. The same capsules, two tubs and 180 capsules in one order, so you are not reordering every few weeks.

Before you decide

Compare cost per declared serving rather than tub price, because a 45-serving capsule tub and a 100-serving powder tub are not like for like. Check the current price on the retailer page when you buy. Reflex's powder label also says it may contain traces of gluten, egg and/or milk, worth knowing if allergens matter in your home.
